Q&A: Senior Game Producer, Craig Turner speaks to CasinoRange

Our Senior Game Producer, Craig Turner, spoke with CasinoRange about Push Gaming's highlights of 2023 and what to expect from us in 2024!

What would you say was the highlight for Push Gaming in 2023?

In terms of launches, Razor Returns was most definitely the highlight. The game has been a top, top game in terms of player engagement and we were also delighted with the feedback we received from the various review sites and streamers who were kind enough to play the game.

What was your favourite slot release from 2023 and why?

It’s got to be Goat Getter! The game marked a change of pace in terms of previous releases. Softer base game, friendly hit rate into bonus. Sure, you’re not going to walk away with a crazy 50,000x win but you are going to get plenty of action for the duration of your session. That’s how I like to play.

Which releases should fans be most excited for in 2024?

Wild Swarm 2 is definitely going to be one to watch. The original game is still a huge performer for us and with the sequel offering massive improvements in both the math profile and general gameplay it’s sure to be a hit.

The next biggie is yet to be announced but we’ll be building a new Razor game. While Razor Returns was a mover on the original this one will be a brand new mechanic. One to watch out for!

What does a successful 2024 look like for Push Gaming?

Global Domination!!!

This will be the same for pretty much every game studio but it’s all about increasing our market share. We’re confident that we’ll achieve this as well purely down to not only the quality of content but also the new product features which we will be launching in 2024.

How do you expect the company to grow and develop over the next 12 months?

Numbers here at Push have been growing steadily over the last 12 months and will continue into 2024. The extra investment into people will allow us to increase the number of games that we launch with the target being 30+ games for 2024.

The increased cadence allows us to give our portfolio a wider range of mechanics, math profiles and themes. You’ll still see the same crazy volatility games that we’re known and loved for but you’ll also see us release some softer, friendlier games which target the more casual players.

What is the one thing above all else that Push Gaming would like to achieve by the end of the year?

A portfolio with a wider range of content. As I mentioned before, 2024 will see Push release more games than ever and in turn this allows us to cater for new player bases.

Are there any slot game innovations that players should keep their eye out for in 2024?

We have a new mechanic scheduled for Q3 which we’re really excited about. It’s still in the prototype stage so we can’t really share too much.

Something I am really excited about is the release of our Action Replay tool. As a player who records every bonus round I play, I'm really excited that we’re giving our players the ability to watch back and share all of the crazy wins that they’ll see on our 2024 roadmap.
